Peter MCcallum
Director - project manager /
Civil engineer
Peter is one of three co-founders at Sky Engineering. He has extensive experience in Civil Engineering, design and project management with over 14 years of experience. He is a registered CPEng, NER, Design Practitioner and Professional Engineer under the Design and Building Practitioners Scheme, APEC Engineer, IntPE and Subdivision Certifier (NSW Building Professionals Act).
Peter has a wide range of skills in both civil/structural projects including major roadworks infrastructure, earthworks, stormwater drainage/flooding, retaining wall, land development and independent verification (TfNSW).
Peter is well versed in the Development Approval Process, Development Feasibilities/ Costings, Project Management, TfNSW QA Specifications and Council standards/ regulations.
duncan mackintosh
technical Director - Civil design
Duncan is second co-founder at Sky Engineering. He has been a key Designer for major transport corridors and urban development projects across Australia with over 16 years industry experience.
He has been involved in a wide range of civil aspects including major roadworks infrastructure, earthworks, stormwater drainage, utility design, stadium precincts, Public Domains, land development, mining, car parks and retail.
Duncan provides high technical skills utilising the latest in digital engineering and project collaboration methods. He has an extensive knowledge of standards and regulations within Australia, local Council and TfNSW specifications.
Frank Xie
Director - Civil engineering/management
Frank is the third co-founder at Sky. With over 16 years experience within the civil industry in New South Wales, Victoria and Queensland. He is a registered Design Practitioner under the Design and Building Practitioners Scheme.
Frank has been involved in a wide variety of projects across NSW, QLD and VIC including residential, commercial, industrial, land development/sub-divisions and road infrastructure.
Frank has extensive knowledge in all aspect of the building phase. From master planning, budget/costs, project management, development applications, tender, construction documentations to completion of the project.
Taryn Mackintosh
drafter/designer
Taryn joined Sky Engineering mid 2021 and is task with documentation control and delievery of design drawing packages.
Taryn has been involved in a wide variety of projects including residential sub-divisions, road upgrades and OSD/WSUD basin/tanks.
Taryn understands the importance of quality designs and clean, easy to read drawings. She is familiar with varies document control systems, such as Aconex, Buildtools and NSW Planning Portal.
